Clackamas Regional Skills Competition - February 23rd

The Clackamas Regional Skills competition will be held February 23rd at Clackamas Community College.

The Skills Competition offers a chance to compete in a variety of subjects including:

- Broadcast Journalism
- Business
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Criminal Justice
- Foreign Language
- Graphic Design
- Horticulture
- Job Interview
- Journalism
- Leadership
- Manufacturing
- Math
- Music
- Social Sciences
- Spelling Bee
- Technology
- Theater Arts
- Video Production
- Welding

It is open to high school students in Clackamas County. Prizes for most contests are tuition waivers to Clackamas Community College 1st place = 12 credits, 2nd place = 8 credits, and 3rd place = 4 credits.

In addition to the competition, an ESL Open House, Career Expo, Campus Tours, and Senior Incentive will be offered on campus that day. The Senior Incentive allows students to earn a 4 credit tuition waiver for any college class during Summer Term 2012 by attending an Information Session on Skills Day and completing a series of tasks to register for classes at CCC.
